HEAD 2026 Range Explained: Coello Pro, Motion & Team vs Extreme Pro & Speed Pro X (UAE)
HEAD 2026 Range Explained: Coello Pro, Motion & Team vs Extreme Pro & Speed Pro X (UAE)
Type "HEAD padel racket" into Google and you'll land on five different names — Coello Pro, Coello Motion, Coello Team, Extreme Pro, Speed Pro X — with no obvious map of how they relate. That's because HEAD's padel range isn't one ladder, it's two separate families built for different jobs. Get the family right and the specific model is easy. Get it wrong and you'll spend 1,000+ AED on a racket that fights your game.
We stock the full HEAD lineup, and we've had most of it in our own hands on court. Here's how it actually breaks down.
The Two Families, in One Line Each
The Coello line is built around Arturo Coello's game and comes in three power levels — Pro, Motion, and Team — all sharing a hybrid shape that splits the difference between diamond power and round forgiveness. The Extreme/Speed line is HEAD's separate performance range, and the two rackets in it don't share a shape at all: Extreme Pro is a true diamond for players who want maximum pop, Speed Pro X is a teardrop built for control and consistency. If you're choosing between these two, you're choosing a shape philosophy, not a power level.
The Coello Line: Pro, Motion, Team
All three share the hybrid shape and land in the 365–375g range, but they're tuned for different things:
HEAD Coello Pro (1,125 AED) is the full-power version — head-heavy balance, built for advanced offensive players who want explosive smashes and are comfortable trading some comfort for pop. This is the one that plays closest to what Coello himself competes with.
HEAD Coello Motion (1,250 AED) is the lighter, more maneuverable sibling — same hybrid shape and head-heavy balance, but built for advanced players who want faster racket-head speed at net without losing the Coello DNA. It's currently out of stock as we restock from Spain; message us on WhatsApp and we'll flag you the moment it lands.
HEAD Coello Team (780 AED) is the softer, more comfortable version with even balance instead of head-heavy — designed for intermediate-to-advanced players who want the Coello shape and identity without the stiffness of the Pro. It's the most forgiving entry point into the line, and the most affordable. Also currently out of stock as we restock — same deal, ping us and we'll let you know.
We've written a full head-to-head on these three if you want the deeper dive: HEAD Coello Pro vs Motion vs Team.
The Extreme/Speed Line: Diamond Power vs Teardrop Control
HEAD Extreme Pro (1,050 AED) is the most powerful racket HEAD makes outside the Coello name — a genuine diamond shape, head-heavy balance, 360–375g, built for expert and competitive players who want maximum power off a clean hit and don't mind the smaller, more demanding sweet spot that comes with a true diamond.
HEAD Speed Pro X (1,175 AED) flips the philosophy — a teardrop shape with even balance, 375g, built for advanced and competitive players who want a bigger, more forgiving sweet spot and want to dictate rallies from the middle of the court rather than just finishing them at net.
Neither of these two is a beginner or intermediate racket — both assume you already have a repeatable swing and know what you're trying to do with the ball. If you're not there yet, the Coello Team above is the gentler HEAD option, or see our level-by-level racket guide first.

So Which Family Should You Actually Buy?
Three honest questions, in order:
Do you want to play like Coello, specifically? If the appeal is the name and the hybrid all-court identity, stay in the Coello line and pick your power level (Pro for max pop, Motion for speed, Team for comfort and value).
Do you already know you're a diamond player? If you've played a diamond before and liked the extra pop on smashes and overheads, and you can live with a tighter sweet spot, Extreme Pro is HEAD's sharpest expression of that shape.
Do you want a bigger margin for error on off-center hits while still playing an advanced-level racket? Speed Pro X's teardrop shape and even balance give you that without dropping you into a beginner frame.
One thing all five share: none of them are round-shape control rackets. If what you actually want is a forgiving, head-light frame for consistency over power, HEAD isn't the brand to start with this cycle — look at the round options in our beginner shortlist instead. We'd rather tell you that now than sell you a racket that fights your swing for a season.
Genuine Stock, Not Grey-Market Guesswork
Every HEAD racket we list comes in through our normal Spain/MENA supply chain, not repackaged grey-market stock. That matters for HEAD specifically because counterfeit diamond-shaped power rackets are common in the UAE market — if a "HEAD Coello Pro" shows up online at 40% below our price, it's worth reading our genuine vs fake checklist before you buy it. We also price-match genuine, verified competitor pricing — just send us the listing.

Talk to Someone Who Actually Plays
Racket specs only tell you so much — the rest is your swing, your level, and how much punishment your arm can take from a stiffer frame. If you're stuck between the Coello line and the Extreme/Speed line, message us on WhatsApp and we'll ask a few questions about your game before pointing you at one, not five.
Play it Bueno.
