Why sub-500 AED rackets are built the way they are

Adidas Match Light 3.5 — 320 AED. Round, even balance, 345–360g. Adidas's true entry point — soft feel, big sweet spot, built to make the first few sessions forgiving rather than frustrating.

Nox X-One 2026 — 310 AED. Round, even balance, 360–375g. One of the best-selling intermediate rackets globally at this spec — a step up in seriousness from the pure-beginner frames on this list while staying accessible.

Nox X-Zero Red 2026 / Nox X-Zero Blue 2026 — 290 AED. Round, head-light, 350–360g. Light in the hand, easy to manoeuvre — built for players still working out their swing timing.

Nox X-Hero Red 2026 — 290 AED. Round, head-light, 350–360g. NOX's most forgiving entry-level frame — the widest practical sweet spot of anything on this list.

Babolat Counter Origin — 345 AED. Round, even balance, and at 335g the lightest racket on this entire list — genuinely easy to swing for a full two-hour session without arm fatigue setting in.

How to actually choose between these

If you're holding a racket for the first time ever, go head-light and sub-350g: the RX Series Light, an X-Zero, or the X-Hero Red. Less weight means less to manage while your technique is still forming. If you've hit a ball before — tennis, squash, anything with a swing — the even-balance options (RX Series 3.5, Match Light, X-One) will feel more natural and give you a bit more pop once your timing catches up. The Babolat Counter Origin is the pick if arm fatigue is your main worry; nothing else here is lighter.

What none of these will do: hit through a strong opponent's pace, generate real spin on demand, or survive being your only racket once you're playing twice a week and improving fast. Honest limits

Stock on most of these sits at 1–3 units — thin because beginner frames sell steadily and restock on Bueno's regular container schedule, not on demand. The Adidas Drive Light 3.5, which would otherwise be on this list at 290 AED, is currently out of stock, so we've left it off rather than list something you can't actually order.
